Silver is at 20.10 an ounce
The Silver eagle market is around 22$ for a regular date - so thats the bear minimum.
All silver eagles are uncirculated so quality is prob not an issue for you, if they are still in their original case from the mint they are probably ms 67- to ms 69.
Both of your coins are around $ 34-40.
Hold onto them, silver will probably increase even more as the economy slumps.

Should I buy the uncirculated version from the mint, the uncirculated version from somewhere else, or the proof version from the mint or somewhere else. Also, which (meaning proof or uncirculated) will most likely be worth more in 20 years?

I have a mint condition, uncirculated, 99.9% Pure Silver Troy $ 1 Silver American Eagle 2001 coin in a wrap. There is a bar-code and the numbers: "4792.81" below it-I figured that that was how much it was worth, but after searching online for about 30 minutes I decided to ask on here. Please help! Thanks.
