Most places give you the value of the silver--according to Yahoo futures an oz. of silver is worth $ 17.18 today (unless it's a particularly rare coin). That amount can change hourly. Here we have a store that sells coins and comic books (I don't know why those two are together). You should look for a similar coin or collectible shop, or put it up on ebay.

Acquire the book before the product. With the influx of counterfeit U.S. coins from CHINA the hobby is getting ruined, because our Government cannot stop these forgeries. Ebay is an open target for these coins (these coins do not have to be stamped COPIES). Again either buy the coin book or check your local library coin section. Weight's & sizes might be the only clue to a fake! Good Luck
